I am super excited that artgoodies has gotten some super great holiday press this year! Here’s a quick snapshot of my yard after the very first snowfall of the year!
- Last Thursday Kitchen Design Inc here in Grand Rapids hosted me during the annual Uptown Holiday Shop Hop. It was fun to get out and do an event locally since I’m always on the go to shows elsewhere. I spread out across their showroom but just look at how great artgoodies goes with these awesome colored cabinets!

artgoodies stuffies! I've been super busy in the studio working on holiday orders and this order of 150 stuffies from my newest account! Oh and those sweet paint by numbers were done by my grandma and dad! artgoodies stuffies look like they could have just jumped right out of them!
- A peek into the studio. There’s my awesome Conrad adjustable etching press, made right here in Michigan. Towels and stuffie pieces drying in the background, you can’t see all the racks in this pic but there’s another whole wall like this back around the left hand corner, plus what I call emergency racks placed around the studio. I pulled 700 prints in 7 days. I’ve been busy busy, sewing, packing orders and of course printing! I’m resting tonight and will be back to the print marathon in the morning! My parents have been totally amazing helping me pack orders, iron, and dad even sewing in tags! I’m so lucky to have such support and love from them, it makes a huge difference especially when you work independently! Go team artgoodies!
Color of the Month- Goodbye Green
It's that time of year when all the leaves and plants are going away and so this month it's ode to green! I have a little green vintage bottle collection perfect for little bouquets around the house. Plus you can find a bunch of the other pieces in my vintage shop!

Southern Living
Last weekend I was in beautiful Savannah, GA for my dear friends wedding. It was a gorgeous elegant event, I had a blast, and I was honored to be a bridesmaid. The moss covered trees were something to see! I snagged this pic on my way in. It was a super fun and super busy weekend but I managed to squeeze a couple of store visits in and a riverboat ride on the Georgia Queen!
- My favorite stop this trip was Jekyll Island, GA. Absolutely gorgeous! I saw some creatures below, and also some great birds and even a dolphin! It was so quiet and serene. I explored over 200 miles of the coast this trip, mostly FL, meandering my way from beach to thrift store. Other stops included Tybee Island just east of Savannah, Flagler Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Anastasia State Park, a brief visit to the Kennedy Space center which ended since a rocket just got sent into space and the beach was closed (a rocket!) that doesn’t happen every day! I also spent the night oceanside at Daytona Beach and my last day I spent soakin up the rays at Cocoa Beach.
- Along one of the beaches at Jekyll Island, there were tons of horseshoe crabs to be seen along the beach, more than I have ever seen in any one place and they were all huge! I took a ton of pics and ran around checking em out. So awesome, mysterious, and beautiful! What a sight! This is one of my faves!
- Another Jekyll Island creature sighting! A pinky stingray!!! I love how you can see the imprint again and the bird footprints comin to check out the scene!

pumpkin treats to go!
What to do when you need a little dessert to go? Pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting of course! Made with real pumpkin my mom harvested and we added to my freezer for such an occasion. I always make extra to share with friends, and they happen to be just the thing to bring to a lovely dinner last night!the last harvest
I was so pleased to find this lovely bunch of carrots growing away below the surface! My best carrot harvest yet! I planted them early this Spring and have been waiting for just the right moment to dig them up. I knew it was time when awoke yesterday to find shimmery frosted rooftops. I also harvested some dill and coriander. I’m sad that gardening season is coming to an end but I still have some brave broccoli that will carry on in the cold giving me little bits into the early winter. These tasty carrots are perfect for fall crock pot meals or maybe a delish little carrot cake! Mmmm!
Color of the Month! THINK PINK!
October happens to be Breast Cancer Awareness Month so it seemed more than appropriate to Think Pink!
- And a pink table setting seems like a perfect excuse to invite some of your best gal pals over for tea and cupcakes! - This past weekend I was exhibiting at the Country Living Fair in Columbus. It was a great time, I had some super nice neighbors and the weather was gorgeous on Friday and Saturday. And I got a subscription to the magazine for 5 bucks! What a steal!
- This is the first time I have been able to merchandise artgoodies with vintagegoodies and I had a blast doing it! It’s such a natural fit and I love merchandising by color!
- At first I planned to sell this cart, but it’s a keeper! My pillows and giant stuffies fit so nicely!
- Even this fly is fooled by my delicious ice cream cone towel! He just wants a little taste!
- A selection of my block print tea towels at Renegade. I like to keep them in nice little stacks so customers can see them all. Decisions, decisions!
- Oh, hello stuffies! Here’s a suitcase full of my block print stuffies at Renegade Chicago. It’s my grandma’s suitcase, and I’ve added some vintage wallpaper squares in the back for extra pizazz. An easy way to transport and display product!
- A nice shot of the Chicago skyline from over by the Shedd Aquarium. Sweet home Chicago. I grew up about 45 minutes away in the burbs so it always feels comfy going back to the windy city.
