color of the month- Orange you Glad

I’m SO glad it’s warming up! The leaves are out on the trees and I think I’ve finally stopped sneezing. Spring is my absolute favorite time of year, despite the allergies, and the flowers are starting to say hello! I feel like I mention the weather a lot, but wouldn’t you if you lived with endless months of winter, the answer is a resounding yes my friends, yes. This month deep orange enters the scene as the warm dreamy summery days get near!

Fave pieces-the amazing McCoy planter with gold and swooping mid century shape! The fantastic pitcher on the left with a deco feel, the song glasses are always fun, the fantastic vintage Florida souvenir tray, and the sweet little Lawry's seasoning jars-why don't they make cute things like this still? It's all anchored by a vintage tea towel featuring a french onion soup recipe.

Another great vintage tablecloth along with vintage napkins, tin picnic plates, souvenir AZ cactus glasses, and an artgoodies quail tea towel of course make for an inviting warming up weather meal! Plus that cute giant gingham peachy apron makes for being the hostess with the mostess!

color of the month- vintage blues April 2011

Yes, I know, this is for April and now it’s May.  I’m late, and I’m sorry to keep you waiting friends. What can I say, there was so much going on, technological meltdowns with my computer and camera and well and I simply got a case of the vintage blues. I’m back up and running and here is your color of the month! Just think you’ll get another one for May sooner than later! Thanks for your patience!

Favorite items, the jug cooler, oblong melmac bowl, Maxwell House tin, cute sippy cup, and the mid century ceramic piece with the black outside with teeny eenny white stripes, not sure who made that one.

May I also suggest one of my NEW all over pattern doily towels for all your aqua kitchen needs! So cute and a perfect fresh look this spring and summery season!
