Vintage Holiday and Restock!

My vintage shop has been awfully quiet due to my travel schedule and the amount of artgoodies work I’ve had on my plate.  Time to do some serious RESTOCKING! Here are some great pieces to make your Thanksgiving holiday extra festive! Plus I just added some fantastic melmac plates that will fit right into a fall table setting! Much more to come on the vintage front including vintage Christmas! So keep and eye on my vintage shop at www.vintagegoodies.etsy.com

Country Living Fair Atlanta!

I’m a little delinquent on my post for this, but that’s what happens when you hit the road and have to play catch up when ya get home! I’m going to keep it simple with a few pics. A big thanks to my customers! Great to see some faces from last year and meet some really nice new ones! Plus it was fantastic being next to my indie craft gal pals from VA and seeing some of my other fave vendor friends! Y’all are awesome!

The view from our hotel on Stone Mountain. Beautiful!

On the way down we made a quick stop at the Grand Ole Opry Hotel. This is a snippet of the gigantic atrium. It's really something to see and you can even take a boat ride inside this place! All the plants and buildings within the structure were quite amazing.

Our stop for the night in Chattanooga led us to some classic car viewing at the hotel. There were quite a few model T type cars, but of course this pale blue beauty caught my eye! I loved all the great details on this car!

artgoodies and Vintagegoodies tent at the show. I love the location of the show in Stone Mountain Park. Such a lovely setting among the trees! Plus it gives you the opportunity to spread out a little, and the trees were gracious enough to make a clothesline full of vintage aprons!

The vintage side at Atlanta. Loaded to the hilt with plenty of vintage housewares!

color of the month- A Wink to Pink!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month Oct 2011, A Wink to Pink.
I recently acquired the pink squirrel planter and stripey pink Pyrex bowl. Other fave pieces are my grandma’s mirror, cream and sugar set from my grandma’s wedding china. Plus a few pieces from my other grandma- the tea cup and saucer, and the perfume mister. Also the poodle girl that my dad bought my grandma back in the 50s. Last but not least ,the little linen towel is so sweet with its silhouettes.
