Color of the Month May 2017
May! The garden has really really sprouted and we’ve begun yard work. We’ve been chopping down scrub trees, done a bit of weeding, and I sold my beloved vintage Knoll patio set to help pay for the new roof, but purchased another cool vintage set that folds easily for storage. Stephan dug out a new area in the front of the house and we’re working on new plans and plantings. This is the worst allergy season I think I’ve ever had but I’m hanging in there. I also just turned 40. I’m still processing that a bit, but the over the hill theme inspired this black and white and red color of the month, ha.
Fave vintage: thermos, graphics on the cloth box, coffee tin banks, canisters, kitschy bowling item, tiny salt and p’s, strawberry jar, and Ebonette cups n saucers.
Fave vintage: cute tablecloth, Knowles Ebonette dishes, red striped napkins, and a few hosta leaves for interest.
