And…cue December! In lieu of the color of the month starts the annual home for the holidays blog edition. I tried to mix it up the display a bit this year for you and for myself. I’ve got some new pieces in the collection, shocker I know. I’ll highlight those in another post, for now here’s a display inspired by Country Living’s stack of crates tree in the current issue. As you know, I’m a big fan of the ole stack o crates display method, been using it for years, so naturally it seemed like a great fit for a new holiday display at home. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!  Another year to be thankful for a lot, that is for sure. I’ll be spending a low key holiday with my parents. I’m so very thankful for their love and support, especially over the last 8 years of running my businesses. As I get older I realize more and more how amazing they are and how lucky I am to have such great parents. Growing up they taught us to be independent and always told us, my brothers and I, that we could do anything we wanted. That has made a big difference in my life allowing me to leap forward towards ideas and dreams, big and small. A sincere thanks mom and dad, you guys are the greatest! I couldn’t do this without you on team artgoodies! Love You! Now onto this holiday thang! Tis the season and I’m going to start it out with my BIGGEST SALES EVER! *BOOM*   SNOW,WINTER, it has arrived. Home just in time from my super amazing weekend away in Chicago. I can’t say I’m ready for this after last year’s snowpocalypse, though there is a bit of a magical feeling that happens when you feel like you’re in a snow globe.

September! I’m tired of all this talk about fall, summer is still happening folks. Summer goes through the end of Sept, the 22nd to be exact. Embrace it while you can! Which is why I’ve been a little slacky on my blog. I’ve been antiquing, farmers marketing, spending time at the cottage, canning, and spending time with family and friends. More on that later, but now color of the month September 2014!
